There are two iOS data recovery modes:
1) Standard Mode: Recover deleted or lost files, such as text messages, contacts and call history, etc.
2) Advanced Mode: This mode is highly recommended. It recovers photos, videos and other data. It will recovery data when you have lost the screen lock password or your device cannot access the system. This takes more steps and time.

Step 1: Connect your device and choose the recovery mode.

Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with computer via USB cable. Select the Reovery Mode: "Recover from iOS device directly" and follow the Three-step way to make your device recognizable.


Note: If you are using iPhone 4/3GS, iPad 1 or iPod touch 4, you need to download a plug-in and enter the scanning mode following steps on the interface.

Step 2: Start to scan and recover files.

After your device is detected, Select the Reovery Mode: "Advanced Mode". And click "Start Scan" and the scanning process will start.

Step 3: After scanning, all the recoverable data in your device will be listed in categories.

You can find three main categories in the left column, "Media", "Message & Contacts", "Memos and Others". In each category, you can also find more specific types like camera rolls, call history, calendars, etc.





You can find the target file in its own category. For photos and pictures, double click and you can preview it.




Step 4: Check the files to recover.

Choose what you need and click the Recover button. The checked files will be exported and saved in your computer.


After a few moments, the recovered files will be restored onto your computer. You can click the “Open” button to view them.
